A film is more than its frames
An image model can make a beautiful frame. Cinema asks a more difficult question: can an intention survive time?
A character must remain themselves while changing. A room must preserve its geometry as the camera moves. A gesture must have a before and an after. What looks like continuity on screen is really a network of memory, constraint, rhythm, and choice.
Tools write aesthetics
Every filmmaking tool carries an idea of what creation is. A timeline privileges sequence. A camera privileges a point of view. A prompt box can make imagination feel like description, even when imagination is also revision, accident, performance, and collaboration.
An AI-native cinema cannot be only faster production. Its technical primitives will shape whose stories are easy to make, what kinds of variation remain possible, and where human taste enters the system.
